Kimiyo Hayashi: Born in Shima, Ise, Mie
Active Ama who has been a Ama for 50 years
Mr. Hayashi, who grew up in a house where diver fishing for generations, came to the United States as a tourist diver for the first two years after entering the world of divers. During that period, I have also performed at a diver show at a Japanese village in the U.S. theme park. After returning to Japan, I went to Nanki Shirahama, Wakayama Prefecture, where I have been active as a tourist diver for 12 years. After that, he returned to his local Shima, and decided to live as a professional diver, and is still an active diver who dives and fishes in the sea of his hometown Ise-Shima.

Program Introduction
You can enjoy lunch while listening to Mr. Hayashi, an active diver, about the work of a diver who catches seafood by diving. Mr. Hayashi bakes abalone (*1) and seafood caught in the sea of Ise-Shima in the hearth. After lunch, we will guide you to the Ama hut that Mr. Hayashi actually uses. You can learn about Ama fishing and Ama's life.
Lunch will be provided at the Ama hut experience facility Satoumi-an, which was also selected as a COOL JAPAN AWARD 2019 National Park. *1 Abalone will be provided from April to September, and Ise shrimp will be provided from October to March.
